Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler

So here's a house warming painting commissioned by my good friend Jabari. He's traveled the world and met amazing people. Everyone will tell you that he carries the Mardi Gras spirit of partying and hospitality with him wherever he goes. I tried my best to capture that energy within the piece. "Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler" is French for "Let the good times role." And to that I say indeed... carry on and let these good times role.

So here's the second piece in a series I am working on entitled 'Peace & Love'. Malcolm and Martin changed the world and my life. They preached peace and love and died tragic violent deaths. Talk about living and dying for your dreams.

The Black History Month That Was...
