I think one of the greatest gifts a mother (or parent for that matter) is their appreciation for music. Mom's made sure we had plenty of gospel music growing up. Grandma taught me how to two-step in the name of love to R.Kelly. Happy Mother's Day to all the great moms out there.

As usual had a great night of entertainment, food, and love for J. Harris' monthly event Love Jones NYC. The painting went with the theme of the night, "Art of the Rock Star."

As you can assume from the name, Love Jones NYC is about bringing love to the city. So how appropriate that my inspiration for the night came from the homie, Toyosi. Love is this girl's philosophy and it pours out of here wherever she goes. 3 cheers for love!
